Surviving Peace
Radio Operator Jacks Harrison and Chief Engineer Antony Watts have been captured by the rebellion that has overrun the ship, killing hundreds and destroying all semblance of order. As the rebellion splinters into factions, each vying for control, the once-familiar decks are transformed into an apocalyptic hellscape, where neighbor has turned against neighbor. The words on the screen were a single point of light in an otherwise pitch black office. Oscar stared at them, seeing them bob in place either because of his sleep-addled brain or because they were glowing too brightly.
"Well, that's something worth waking me up for in the middle of the night," Oscar said, glancing over his shoulder at the silhouette of his colleague, Abby, who had physically run down sixteen flights of stairs and banged on his door. "I don't think I'm the help you're looking for though. I've never seen this error code before. It's, uh, dramatic."
